What an eye-opener — definitely have to check a few of these out. Loved that Mount Kimbie EP, and loved their “Sketch on Glass,” too. These don’t meet your criteria for one reason or another, but I liked Moonbeam’s ‘When Tears Are Dropping…,’ Kate Simko’s ‘Take You There,’ Gaslamp Killer’s ‘My Troubled Mind’, Loscil’s ‘Strathcona Variations’, Washed Out’s ‘Life of Leisure.’

Lots of great EPs listed here in the comments. I was considering putting up Scuba’s Aesaunic but decided to omit 2×12″s; that said, “Gonna Work Out Fine” is a favorite.

@rubin General consensus was to consider Three EPs an album, so perhaps you will see that when we get there…

i like the idea of separating EPs as putting out a whole record full of dope shit is even more difficult than just making one good tune with a throwaway cut on the B-side. i definitely dig that Floating Points one a ton!

A rock solid selection here. “Mirror” is one the finest EP’s from any year – timeless. Kassem Mosse blew my mind with Workshop 008 by taking it to another level he definitely deserves top spot.
