Melon balls and slices
Chaim, “It Never Ends” [Love Minus Zero] 2007 is the first I’ve heard of Israeli producer Chaim and so far I can’t hear enough of him. With “Popsky” as his starting point, I knew Chaim was one to watch. His new single, “It Never Ends,” jitters and jams, flexing its synthy muscles and ensnaring listeners in its ripping melody. Underworld, “Spoonman” [Wax Trax! Records] I maintain that you need to know the past to deal with the future. Still essential, both this song and its vinyl home. Deetron, “Maguma” [Cocoon Recordings] This entire compilation is worth pre-ordering right now, and these are just its fantastic closing notes. |

I really dig the new Audion track on that Cocoon comp. Awesome tune!
