Why they’ve chosen to abandon their scrappiness, their rough edges, the most alluring part of their sound is beyond me. If Linda Perry co-wrote it I win a George Foreman grill for identifying underwriters. Perhaps it’s poor source material, too, because the Diplo remix of this doesn’t help. Not that Diplo’s remixes are always on mark, but whatever.
