Excellent mix; thanks LWE and Roof Light. I’ve been following Roof Light, VVV, Ghostek, Lostlogic, etc. on Soundcloud for some time now. I’d love to hear some discussion around “future garage” on one of LWE’s upcoming Critics’ Roundtable podcasts. Although much in the genre sounds like Ghosts of Christmas Past throwing a rave (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), I’m a sucker for it.

This guy is brilliant, it’s apt that you mentioned Todd Edwards with your Recloose review, Roof Light’s ‘Prayin’ (to T E) is another similar slept on tune that channels that same feeling. It’s a strange state of affairs that the guy doesn’t get the coverage he deserves because his music is definitively eclectic, and his sample manipulation and sheer imagination puts most of his peers to shame. From Folk to Guitar based material all the way through to thumping Theo Parrish style house. More please!
