The word I keep coming back to when I talk about it is bland - but not terrible. Furthermore, I propose that, from this moment forward, all Flying Lotus reviews and interviews avoid mention of his illustrious family tree. Present company excluded, it often reeks of desperation at this point. As in, "But, but his aunt played the harp and said cosmic shit and was married to the greatest sax player EVAR!!" Yes, we know.
