yeah, I definitely like Clapper (and in fact, recommend buying it in this review). But when a producer is on such a roll, it’s hard not to notice when the momentum ebbs…

It’s not that “Clapper” is bad in any way; it’s certainly this EP’s bright spot. Personally, I’m just not used to Freund repeating himself. He’s shown us so many sides of himself that seeing the sameish side again has less impact.

agreed on the efdemin, but not on the tobias. love it. monster of a track. heard it on a big sound system last weekend and wow. yes, it is not as subtle as ‘can’t fight the feeling’ but i don’t know why it has to be. what’s wrong with him doing a big track? he can do it. that’s for sure.

Yeah, both lack something to bring them together & they just seem so bare, lonely, & cold. However, after listening to Efdemin’s DnP mix I can see where these sort of tracks would slot into a set, especially for Efdemin. Personally, I’m not feeling them & was expecting more from this release.

I agree that “Clapper” doesn’t reach the level of the ‘I Can’t Fight The Feeling’ stuff, but I think its pretty incredible, all the same. I’ll need to spend some more time with it, but for now I’m thrilled with it.
