What have you been listening to?

It never felt right to us that charting dance music has been the exclusive domain of DJs and critics. Their charts only reveal half of the picture and leave out many of the people who pack the night clubs and keep DJs in demand. And let’s be honest: some DJs (not to mention names) will vouch for anything and most DJs chart as a way to promote themselves, their labels or their pals. Little White Earbuds wants to look at the whole picture, and we want you to be a part. Click here to vote for your top 10 singles of the month now, and read more information about our Charts For All after the jump.

Who should submit a ballot? We invite anyone reading this site to submit your top 10 commercially available tracks to us each month using our web form. The tracks do not need to have been released that month; rather, it’s your favorite tracks listened to that month. Still, we encourage you to keep up. At the end of each month we’ll total your ballots and will post the results with a few of our thoughts. Because our totals will not value DJs, label owners or promoters more than anyone else, it’ll be easy to tell what’s truly popular and if the DJs are getting it right. Our first chart will be for February, so make your lists and send them to us by the end of the month.
